Gallery 949: Picture in Time Special - Nottingham Express Transit June 2007

In this latest "Picture in Time Special" we head back to June 2007 to take a look at Nottingham Express Transit. By the time of these photos the system had been in operation for more than three years and had firmly established itself as part of the public transport network in the area. The trams consisted solely of the original 15 Bombardier built Incentros with services running from Station Street to Hucknall and Phoenix Park. While most of the trams were in standard fleet livery we also see a couple of examples running in an advert for Powergen. Photographer: Gareth Prior
