Gallery 940: Picture in Time Special - Docklands Light Railway 6th March 2008

In this collection we again head back into the archives and feature images taken on the Docklnads Light Railway in March 2008. Although the first of the B2007 units had arrived in London the previous month the service was still exclusively in the hands of the older B90, B92 and B2K trains. The system was also slightly smaller than that we are used to today with the routes to Woolwich Arsenal from King George V (following in 2009) and Stratford International (2011) not yet open. Other differences to today were the lack of three car trains running plus Tower Gateway and Pudding Mill Lane stations being in their original configuration.
