Gallery 919: Picture in Time Special - Seaton Tramway End of Season Gala 2008

At the end of October in 2008 the Seaton Tramway held an End of Season Gala - the last such event to take place - with most trams in the fleet in service not only on full length journeys but also short trips between Seaton and Colyford. There were also depot tours and the Works Car was noted out on the mainline. In total eight different trams ran in normal service with 16 on Driver Experience duties, 2 on depot shuttles and 11 and 14 on a Private Hire for the Sidings Club. As well as the serviceable trams Bournemouth 101 was stored out the back of the depot with 4 and 7 staying in depot throughout the day. Photographer: Gareth Prior
