Gallery 901: Blackpool Tramway Flexity2s - September 2020

The Flexity2 trams operate the core service in Blackpool but always seem to be overshadowed by the heritage trams so here we see them in a gallery of their own! Taken in late September these photos shows the Flexity2s operating on the revised service between Starr Gate and Fleetwood Ferry. All three trams which carry full advertising liveries are featured - 001 with its ad for the various Merlin attractions in the resort and the Big Blackpool Ticket and 003 and 016 in their matching Pretty Little Thing.com adverts - along with some of the other trams. Various different locations are seen in mainly fine weather as the trams operate with strict social distancing measures in place restricting capacity on board the trams. Photographer: Gareth Prior
