Gallery 890: Picture in Time Special - Seaton Tramway End of Season Gala 2007

In the month that the Seaton Tramway celebrates 50 years of running we head back 13 years to 2007 to feature photos from that year's End of Season Gala. A two day event over the last weekend of October these photos comes from the first day - Saturday 27th October 2007 - when eight trams were in passenger service, another was on taster driver experience trips, one was on a Private Hire and a Works Car made demonstration trips too. The service cars were 2, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12 (operating Seaton to Colyford shuttles only), 14 and 17 with 10 on a Private Hire and a Bird Watching Trip and 16 on the Driver Experience. In the depot 4, 7 and 19 were all present whilst outside the back of the depot could be seen Bournemouth 101, the body of which was being considered for rebuilding into an single deck saloon but which eventually ended up being surplus to requirements.

In this gallery we view many of these trams at the three main locations of the tramway although 17 and Bournemouth 101 seem to have avoided the camera on this occasion!
