Gallery 888: Around the World in Trams Special - Lisbon Trams 2015


At many points in Lisbon the trams operate down very narrow streets, at some locations there is only a single track in the street with the opposing line being in the next street. Here on line 28 we see the start of an interlaced track to allow the trams to negotiate the winding curved street. Notice how the motorist found the one place that a car could be safely parked.
