Gallery 882: Manchester Metrolink - July 2020

A rare set of current photos for us in this gallery as we take a brief look at Manchester Metrolink operations around Ashton-under-Lyne during mid-July 2020. The Metrolink timetable at this time was seeing a 10 minute service on all lines so for the Ashton line this saw trams running at that frequency through to Eccles via MediaCityUK. Whilst this does mean fewer trams for the Ashton line there are some lines (the Airport and Trafford Park lines) which are enjoying a higher frequency than normal - just a small quirk of this special timetable!
