Gallery 877: Picture in Time Special - Stagecoach Supertram 9th June 2006 |
This latest look back into the archives takes us to a warm and sunny early June day in 2006 with a visit to Sheffield for images of the Stagecoach Supertram system. At this time, the livery on the trams was in transition with the vast majority retaining the white based Stagecoach colours whilst the new - and still current to this day - blue, red and orange livery. We see both liveries in this collection as well as a couple of all over adverts. Photos are included at various locations on the network, although as with many of these earlier photo trips the locations are limited with Cathedral, Attercliffe and Sheffield Station featuring extensively. With all the trams featured here still part of the operating fleet in Sheffield this is still a chance to see these trams at an earlier, and less tired, stage of their careers. |
