Gallery 872: Picture in Time Special - Croydon Tramlink 2003 & 2004

In this collection we head back to 2003 and 2004 for images taken on Croydon Tramlink on several visits during those two years. This was a time when the tram fleet consisted solely of the original Bombardier CR4000s which remained in the original Red and White fleet livery. Whilst advertising liveries were few and far between at this time we do see IKEA advertising on some of the trams, or in the case of a few the advert was being prepared with a plain yellow colour seen instead. As with the recent Manchester Metrolink Picture in Time Special locations at this time were fairly limited with the bulk of photos taken in and around East Croydon along with other locations in and on the fringes of the town centre.
