Gallery 856: The Seashore Trolley Museum - 80th Anniversary Parade 6th July 2019

Once the pride and joy of the Manchester Street Tramways this private parlor car - named "City of Manchester" - was built by the Briggs Carriage Company in 1898. It was later sold at an unknown date for further use as a children's playhouse. Acquired by the museum way back in 1952 it was restored back to service and features only hand brakes.
