Gallery 853: National Capital Trolley Museum - International Festival of Trolleys 16th September 2018

Whilst not used in service during the day, Toronto Transit Commission 4602 was on display in front of the Carbarn all day. Another PCC car it was originally numbered 4537 when built in 1951. In 1984 Toronto remanufactured 19 PCC cars in their fleet which used parts from the original PCC cars of which this was one. Renumbered as 4602 in remained in service until 1996 when it was withdrawn and acquired by the Gerald Brookins Museum of Electric Railways. Its history then follows that of Blackpool 606 as after moving into the ownership of the Lake Shore Electric Railway it was purchased by the National Capital Trolley Museum in 2009 at the dispersal sale.
