The weekend of 21st and 2nd September 2019 saw a celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the tramway museum site at Crich with a two day special event encompassing both operating trams and static displays. A total of 19 different trams ran in passenger service over the weekend plus two works cars on demonstration runs (complete with passengers) with a weekend of two halves as the weather was sunny and warm on the Saturday and wet and cool on the Sunday. In addition the static displays saw a Leeds line-up on the Saturday and a Sheffield line-up on the Sunday - both saw five trams displayed for photos on the depot fan. Gateshead 5 was also out of the depot being displayed alongside the Barnsley bus, with both vehicles having been owned by BET. For full details of what happened over the weekend please see this article. In this gallery we take a look at all the above plus those impromptu photo opportunities as trams head around the museum site, which images split into "On the mainline" and "Around the Depot".
