Gallery 828: Metrolink Trafford Park extension - 10th September 2019 |
In this latest update from the Manchester Metrolink Trafford Park extension we once again take a walk along the line to see the latest progress and once again there has been quite a bit! Much of the overhead wiring is now in place with two long sections now up. This includes one from the Trafford Centre to a point just before the line crosses Parkway for around 1700 metres and one of approximately 2000 metres from the middle of Parkway Circle through to just outside the Imperial War Museum North. And since these photos were taken there has been further progress in the erection of the overhead. The line is scheduled to open in the first part of 2020. |
