Gallery 815: East Anglia Transport Museum - July 2019

The weekend of 6th and 7th July saw another special event at the East Anglia Transport Museum with the Eastern Counties Transport Collection celebrating their 50th anniversary. Whilst this collection is concerned with buses obviously with the event's base being the museum there was a tram involvement as well with a two car service in operation on each day. This saw Blackpool pair Marton VAMBAC 11 and Standard 159 in action and they both feature extensively in this collection. We also take a look at some other tram exhibits at the museum both in the depot and also the Lowestoft tram body now in use as the home for an exhibtion.
