Gallery 804: 50s Seaside Celebration at EATM - May 2019

Over the weekend of 11th and 12th May the East Anglia Transport Museum in Carlton Colville went to the seaside with a 50s Seaside Celebration the theme of their latest special event. Whilst the main highlight was the launch back into service of Hastings trolleybus 34 after restoration and the visit of Happy Harold ex-Hastings trolleybus 3 (now running under diesel power) the trams didn't miss out! Keeping with the seaside theme the two trams running were Blackpool pair Marton VAMBAC 11 and Standard 159 and this gallery mainly concentrates on those two trams. We don't ignore the other vehicles in operation though with some views of the trolleybuses and also see those trams in the depot not needed for the event.
