Gallery 803: West Midlands Metro - 4th May 2019

In 2018 the May Day Bank Holiday was very warm and sunny but move forward 12 months and it was a very different story as whilst there was still sunny skies on and off there were also low temperatures across the UK. In this collection we take a trip to the West Midlands Metro for a selection of photos taken on the Saturday of the Bank Holiday weekend. On this day a standard service was in operation with 12 trams required, this included a split of battery fitted trams and those yet to enjoy this addition. In service were the three trams with adverts - 18, 21 and 36 - with the other nine all in the old Magenta, White and Silver colours. Photographer: Gareth Prior
