Gallery 802: Tyne and Wear Metro - April 2019

Photos are included here of the Tyne and Wear Metro over a weekend in mid-April 2019. For much of this weekend there was rail replacement work around Gateshead so for the main part this collection includes photos north of the River Tyne mostly on the Coastal route although we also include photos on the common section of the Coast and Airport lines between Newcastle City Centre and South Gosforth. We actually start this collection at Gateshead Stadium on Friday 12th April before the weekend starts in earnest and we include images of the trains both in the city centre and on the rest of the network "north of the Tyne". With all trains seen being in the uniform fleet livery a number of different locations are included.
