Gallery 792: Picture in Time Special - Nottingham Express Transit 2004 |
We head back almost 15 years for a Picture in Time special in this gallery with a selection of images taken on Nottingham Express Transit in 2004. All these images were taken on 10th March which was in fact only the second day of public operation when the tram were very much still something new for the East Midlands with many people taking a ride to see just what all the fuss was about. It was a cold day with some snow flurries experienced but we still get see the Bombardier Incentro trams in service on the original network from Station Street to Hucknall and Phoenix Park. At this stage there were 15 of these trams with all but two in the original fleet livery of Dark Green, Black and Silver. Those other two trams were in advertising liveries for Westbury Homes and Powergen. |
