Gallery 790: Manchester Metrolink Trafford Park extension - 5th February 2019

Work on extending Manchester Metrolink a further 5.5km to Trafford Park is continuing with excellent progress being seen across the length of the line. Stops are now being constructed at various locations whilst track laying is also in progress on the line which will leave the current Eccles branch at Pomona. In this collection we see just where we are with the construction at the start of February. Services are set to start in 2020. Photographer: Steve Hyde
