Gallery 748: Beamish Tramway - June 2018

Taken on two separate visits during mid-June this collection concentrates on the tramway at Beamish. Although the tramway hasn't reached the same levels of interest in the last couple of years as it had earlier this decade there is still plenty to interest the tram enthusiast at the museum with probably the hardest working heritage trams in the UK. On both visits included in this gallery the only three operational trams at the time were in service - Newcastle 114, Oporto 196 and Sheffield 264, although since this time Blackpool 31 has returned to action to help ease the pressure on these trams. As well as the trams we also see some of the other vehicles at the museum in action.
