Another popular family event at the Crich Tramway Village is Beside the Seaside which is also the longest event in the calendar each year. Lasting a full nine days the event sees the museum turned into the seaside including beach, amusement rides and Punch and Judy! Of course, the trams also run with an intensive service operated on most days. In this collection we take a look at the sights of the second day of Beside the Seaside - Sunday 27th May. A six tram service was in operation including London County Council 106, Blackpool 167, Blackpool 236, Metropolitan Electric Tramways 331, Leeds 399 and Blackpool 630 and all six are included in this gallery. We also see Glasgow 22 - which was due to run instead of 399 at the depot gates - where it had dewired as well as a few views around the depots and Exhibition Hall.
