Gallery 731: Blackpool Tramway - 5th & 6th May 2018

Another Gold weekend of heritage tram operation was held on the Blackpool Tramway over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend of Saturday 5th to Monday 7th May and in this collection we feature some shots from the first two days of the service. The undoubted highlight of the weekend was the continued use of Standard 147 looking resplendent following its overhaul and repaint but it shared the limelight with other heritage trams including Brush 630 which was in action on the Sunday for its last public service ahead of a return to Crich. Starting off with a few photos on the Saturday this gallery soon finds itself on Sunday 6th May where we take a more detailed look at the eight heritage trams in action as well as some of the Flexity2 trams in service.
