Gallery 693: Bournemouth 85 arrives at Crich - 25th August 2017

The latest tram to become part of the national collection, Bournemouth 85, arrived at the Crich Tramway Village on Friday 25th August following its lengthy journey from the Museum of Electricity in Christchurch, Dorset. 85 is a 3' 6" gauge tram and will eventually be displayed in the Great Exhibition Hall on a special section of recently installed narrow gauge track. However upon its arrival in Derbyshire it was put into the depot where it will remain until after Tram Day. In this gallery we see the tram arriving at Crich and being unloaded into its temporary resting place whilst also seeing a few other trams around on the day.
