Gallery 688: Crich Tramway Village Shunt - July 2017

Over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd July a number of trams which rarely see the light of day at Crich were shunted as preparations for the arrival of Bournemouth 85 at the museum continued. Although only publicised on the day of the shunt was due to take place - because of a variety of reasons which meant it was only fully confirmed it would happen at the last minute - we can still bring you some photos of what moved and also part of the new look in the Great Exhibition Hall. The chance was also taken to take a look at some of the withdrawn trams and to give them a well earnt wash. Photographers: Gordon Burch/Crich Tramway Village & Hazel Quarmby
