Gallery 678: Midland Metro - May 2017

On 30th May 2017 Midland Metro celebrated its 18th anniversary since the first passengers were carried (free journeys were offered on that day in 1999 with fare paying services starting the next day). The line we see today is much different to that original service with a complete replacement of the tram fleet and an extension into Birmingham City Centre the most obvious changes. In this Photo Gallery we take a look at Midland Metro in 2017 with images being taken just before the anniversary and on the two key anniversary dates as well.
