Gallery 666: MTMS 50 at Heaton Park Tramway - 2nd April 2017

On Sunday 2nd April a special event took place at the Heaton Park Tramway to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Manchester Transport Museum Society. The day started with Manchester 765 and Hull 96 in service and then later on in the day Blackpool 619 and Blackpool 623 joined in the fun with up to three of the trams in service at any one time. In addition other stored trams were dragged out of their resting places for display including Blackpool Works 1, Oldham 43, Manchester 173 and Blackpool 702 plus a Manchester Horse Bus sitting on Rawtenstall 23's truck!
