Gallery 660: Blackpool Winter Gold - February 2017

The second Winter Gold operation of 2017 took place over the weekend of 25th/26th February with the usual operation of six heritage trams on the Blackpool Tramway. In this collection we take a trip to Blackpool on Sunday 26th February with the day starting with Box 40, Bolton 66, Railcoach 680, Balloons 700 and 715 and Frigate 736 in service. 66 was replaced later in the day by Balloon 723. Alongside the heritage cars we also take a look at a few of the Flexity trams in action including 003 which was seen on a test run as far as Bispham. Photographer: David Mee
