The winner of the British Trams Online Tram (Heritage) of the Year is Manx Electric Railway trailer 50. This vehicle returned to service in July 2025 - just in time for the Transport Festival which also won the Event of the Year - which happened to be its first use since 1978! Completed in a joint project between a team of volunteers and paid staff on the MER the trailer is just the latest to return thanks to this partnership. Completed in the nationalised green and white livery this shot shows 50 at Derby Castle Sheds.
