 229 is one of the Alstom built Citadis trams which make up more than 50% of the total fleet size having been introduced in time for the opening of the phase two extensions. Its on one of those extension that we see the tram as it approaches Beeston Centre (which will be just round the corner behind the photographer) with a service to Toton Lane. |
