Great Orme Tramway - 4th July 2026

The unique Great Orme Tramway is a 3'6" gauge cable operated tramway which runs in two sections between Victoria Station on the outskirts of Llandudno Town Centre and Halfway, and then from Halfway to the Summit of the Great Orme. Thw lower section opened in 1902 with the uppper section then seeing passengers from the following year. Ever since it opened it has been operated by the same four trams - with 4 and 5 in charge of the lower section and 6 and 6 operate the upper section.

This collection features images from the two very different sections with all four trams featured on a days visit at the start of July 2026.
