London Trams - 4th May 2026

2537 is at the top end of Church Street which has a steep gradient as we see in this view. The tram has not long left the stop at George Street and now passes the side of Primark on its way to Elmers End. Those who know the London Trams system may be a little confused as to why this tram is destined for Elmers End as trams on that route usually go through to Wimbledon. But Bank Holiday Monday sees a Sunday timetable and early morning services on a Sunday from Elmers End go round the Croydon loop rather than heading to Wimbledon.
