Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority ("SEPTA") 205, a J.G Brill high speed car from the Norristown line. Originally this car picked up its current from third rail shows (the beams are still on the trucks), for service in Rockhill, it has been given trolley poles. This is a double ended "bullet" aluminum construction interurban car built as Philadelphia and Western 205. It was built to the standard gauge and was designed to operate from an overrunning third rail and with high platforms. The Philadelphia and Western Railroad was merged into the Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Company (Red Arrow Lines) as of 31st December 1954. It passed to the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (“SEPTA”) ownership on 29th January 1970 and was finally acquired by the Rockhill Trolley Museum during 1990.
