20 Photos of... Blackpool Centenary Cars 2005-2009

647 will always have a place in history, being the last traditional standard gauge passenger tram built in the UK for a UK tramway. In this photo we see the tram at Cleveleys with a heavily loaded service to Pleasure Beach on 8th September 2005. The tram is in a bright pink advert for Tiffany's Hotel which was found on the tram between March 2004 and March 2008. The tram was preserved and can currently be found at NELSAM in Sunderland but has now been confirmed as surplus to requirements with a hope for a new home in the future.
