 More happy visitors to Beamish take a ride on the top deck of Blackpool 31 as it once again makes it way around the museum tramway. There are now many examples in preservation which have run longer than they did on their original systems and 31 is no different, albeit only as a passenger tram, it ran for 33 years in the passenger fleet in Blackpool (although did then get converted to a works car and was used for another 50 years!) and now has 38 years in preservation. |
