South Yorkshire Supertram - March 2025

Timing is everything in life and this collection features photos from a trip to Sheffield which could probably be described as not the best timing ever! It came during a cold snap in mid-March after warmer spells either side and also at a time when South Yorkhshire Supertram were running a reduced service on both the Blue and Yellow routes. With additional maintenance needed on "ageing" trams the service on both those routes was reduced from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes to avoid cancellations which had been seen in the week leading up to the decision to reduce the frequency.

In this collection we see many of the trams which were out in this two day visit and this included several advert and promotional livers, as well as the normal fleet livery from the Stagecoach days.
