Volk's Electric Railway - 10th February 2024

The weekend of 10th and 11th February 2024 saw the rare winter operation of the Volk's Electric Railway. With the Heritage Railway Association Awards taking place in Brighton on the Saturay evening the chance was taken to run a service on both days - and it was a cause of celebration of the railway as it was named Railway of the Year at the ceremony!

These photos come from the first day of the running - with the crews supplied by he Volk's Electric Railway Assocation - when a two set service was in operation. This saw 4 run on its own and 6+10 run as a coupled set.
