Around the World in Trams: Pennsylvania Trolley Museum 29th April 2023 |
We head overseas for this collection of photos as we're off to the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum for their Volunteers Day 2023 which took place on 29th April. The main purpose of this day was two dedications as the development of the museum continues. For many years they have been working on the construction of their East Campus which includes the Trolley Display Building, the Artifact Storage Building, the relocated Wexford Station and a new Visitor's Centre.
After good progress has been made on several aspects of this development Volunteers Day saw a celebration of the completion of a high level viewing platform in the Trolley Display Building and the completion of Volunteer Boulevard (a trolley boarding area outside). In this collection as well as seeing some of the dedication ceremonies we also take a quick look at the trolleys which were at front and centre on the day. |
