What do you do when you have so many photos of the Manx Heritage Transport Festival to choose from to feature on these pages? You split into two galleries that's what! Following on from our last collection which featured the Isle of Man's tram systems in the lead up to the event this time we take a look at the first two days of the Festival on 30th and 31st July.
Highlights on Tuesday 30th July saw a parallel run using Tunnel Cars 5 and 7>, Ratchet 14 used on the Crossbench Crossover tour as well as the usual timetable on the MER. The Douglas Bay Horse Tramway also features in these images. Then on Wednesday 31st July the parallel run featured Winter Saloons 20 and 21 whilst there were also Derby Castle Shed Tours. The evening saw a Victorian Evening at Laxey with 1 and 2 doing a parallel run to Dhoon Quarry. Meanwhile, on the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway it was Winter Saloon day with 27 and 29 in use and the good weather also saw Toastrack 42 run.
