London Trams - 27th April 2024

A trip to the London Trams network serving the South London areas of Croydon and Wimbledon. This was a normal Saturday service which came a few days after the whole system was reopened following a month long period of engineering work which had meant the eastern part had been without any form of service.

In this collection we start off on the Wimbledon line with photos at Merton Park and Mitcham Junction before we move onto the New Addington line with stops at Fieldway and Gravel Hill before ending the day at Arena at the junction of the lines to Beckenham Junction and Elmers End.

Just one tram in the fleet - consisting of both Bombardier CR4000s and Stadler Variobahns - is not in fleet livery with 2554 retaining the majority of its long-standing Love Croydon livery.
