With a new book being released this week which looks at the conduit years on the Blackpool Tramway (by Blackpool tram expert Brian Turner) this week our front page photo takes a look at the sole surviving conduit car - 4. Preserved as part of the national collection at Crich, the tram is mainly confined to the Exhibtion Hall but on 12th June 2005 it was let out for a short period of operation (using batteries) and is seen here just leaving Town End for a run along the line.
