 216 is the lowest numbered of the Alstom Citadis trams which were built for the phase two extensions of Nottingham Express Transit. Its now been 10 years since the first of the trams were delivered to Nottingham and their arrival was at Wilkinson Street Depot, the access tracks to which can just be seen on the right hand side of this photo. The tram has just departed Wilkinson Street tramstop and now approaches us with a service to Toton Lane. Photograph by Gareth Prior |
