Around the World in Trams: The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum Trolley Fair 2022 Part 2

Again leaving the County Home Siding we see another car in the third parade - Pittsburgh Railways 1711. This is another single ended car which was the last trolley in regular service on the Washington interurban line, a part of which it is transiting in this view. Built by the Saint Louis Car Company to the post war PCC design it entered service in 1949 and remained in service until 1988 by which time it was operated by PATransit. The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum became its new home in 1990. Its latest restoration was completed by Adtranz in 2001.
