This is the only tram to have won the award twice and its just a humble Blackpool Brush Car! 623 first won in 2007 before winning again five years later. In 2007 it beat off competition from Llandudno & Colwyn Bay 7 by just one vote! Its nomination that year came after it returned to service after mothballing and was also repainted into the wartime green and cream livery. Then in 2012 it won as part of a seven tram shortlist having entered service at the Heaton Park Tramway. In the above image we show 623 at Tower on 8th September 2007.
