2017 marked a change for the Tram of the Year as for the first time (and the first of four wins in five years) we headed over to the Isle of Man. The winning tram was Douglas Bay Horse Tramway 36 which received 169 votes (37.39%) having been the first of the horse cars to receive an overhaul under the ownership of Isle of Man Railways - even though it only ran for one day in the year! This is actually 6th August 2016 when we see the tram pre-overhaul with Steve doing the hard work.
