A standard 20 minute frequency service was in operation and with a coach party arriving the middle there were also extra trams out so that in total six different trams were out. The main service cars was 9, 10 (only just back after overhaul), 11 and 12. In addition 2 and 8 were also out.

As well as the normal timetabled service there was a Depot Tour which includes a tram journey from Seaton to Riverside Depot, an informative tour around the depot with lots of facts about the tramway and then onward travel up to Colyton. On this day 8 was used as the Depot Tour tram.
