We return to the Isle of Man for this collection of photos and having featured the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway a few weeks ago this time we go all electric with images taken on the Manx Electric Railway and Snaefell Mountain Railway during April and the very start of May 2023.
This visit was timed to coincide with a David Williams photo charter, which although mainly focussed on the Isle of Man Steam Railway also saw a couple of private hires on the MER as well as some spare time to enjoy the general delights of the Isle of Man - and that, of course, included the trams! There were two main MER photo charters which are included in this gallery. The first of these took place on Thursday 28th April and used Crossbench 16 along with Wagon 10 and Van 16 before the following day saw 1 hired along with Wagon 10 and Van 4. As well as these two daytime hires there was a night shoot at Derby Castle Sheds. Those three charters are featured heavily in this collection alongside some more general shots on both the MER and SMR. |
