Douglas Bay Horse Tramway - April 2023

This will be the first of two galleries featuring photos taken on the Isle of Man in April (and early May) 2023. In this gallery we feature the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway with the electric lines to follow in a few weeks.

During the period under review three different trams were used in service: 29, 36 and 45. The line continues to operate between Derby Castle and Broadway with no signs that the line will be re-extended through to the Sea Terminal in the near future.

As well as the trams in service we take a look behind the scenes at the rebuilt Strathallan Depot to see some of those trams which are currently stored or under restoration.
