Crich Tramway Village - March & April 2023 |
The 2023 season got underway at the Crich Tramway Village on Monday 13th March and since then 12 different trams have been used in passenger service. In this first look for the year at the museum we see several of those vehicles in action on three different visits. The trams we see in service during these trips are Glasgow 22, London United Tramways 159, Leeds 399 (on all three days!), Sheffield 510 and Liverpool 869.
As well as the trams in service we also take a quick look around the workshop where long-standing projects London County Council 1, Newcastle 102 and Blackpool 298 are seen, whilst we peek into the depots and at the Great Exhibition Hall to see a few more of the extensive national collection. |
Photographers: Dave Bickley & David Maxwell Photographs were taken on Wednesday 29th, Thursday 30th March & Thursday 6th April 2023. |
