20 Years in 20 Photos - Crich Tramway Village |
![]() 12th June 2005 is when we start this look at Crich over the past 20 years with an image taken at Wakebridge. The left hand side has three trams which all ran in 2022 - Chesterfield 7, Sheffield 74 and Oporto 273. But its the other side which contains the more interest as it includes Leeds 602. The Leeds car would run again the following year but would then be withdrawn and is now confined to the Great Exhibition Hall where it is on display and with the decision to conserve rather than restore the tram it is likely to remain there. |
