Of course the Blackpool Illuminations are now shining nightly until Sunday 9th November and with that the heritage trams are in action every night whilst the East Anglia Transport Museum enjoy their End of Season Gale over the weekend of 6th and 7th September. And we aren\u2019t too far off Electric 50 at Crich either\u2026<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Beamish: The Living Museum of the North<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Current Status: Open daily<\/p>\n<p>Opening hours: 1000-1700 (last admission 1500)<\/p>\n<p>More info @ <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beamish.org.uk\/\">http:\/\/www.beamish.org.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Birkenhead Heritage Tramway<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Current Status: Operates every Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Operating hours: Services run from Taylor Street Museum at 1300 and then every half hour until 1630, returning from Woodside Ferry at 1315 until the last possible return at 1615.<\/p>\n<p>Next Special Event: Sunday 5<sup>th<\/sup> October \u2013 Bus &amp; Tram Show<\/p>\n<p>More info @ <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mtps.co.uk\/\">http:\/\/www.mtps.co.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Blackpool Tramway<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Current Status: Operates nightly during the Illuminations until Sunday 9th November<\/p>\n<p>Operating Hours: Tours start shortly after the Illuminations are switched on nightly (details of times can be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackpooltransport.com\/services\/illuminations\">http:\/\/www.blackpooltransport.com\/services\/illuminations<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>More info @ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BlackpoolHeritageTramTours\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BlackpoolHeritageTramTours<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Crich Tramway Village<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Current Status: Open Daily<\/p>\n<p>Opening hours: 1000-1730 (last admission 1600). See below for details of when.<\/p>\n<p>The following services will run over the next few weeks:<\/p>\n<p>Until Sunday 31<sup>st<\/sup> August \u2013 Timetable D (14 departures per day starting at 0940 from Douglas \u2013 not all run all the way to Ramsey)<\/p>\n<p>Monday 1<sup>st<\/sup> September-Sunday 28<sup>th<\/sup> September \u2013 Timetable C (10 departures from Derby Castle per day between 0940 until 1640 \u2013 final departure only as far as Laxey rest go to Ramsey \u2013 returning from Ramsey between 1010 and 1640 \u2013 also departure from Laxey for Derby Castle at 0955)<\/p>\n<p>There will be additional evening services between Derby Castle and Laxey on Wednesdays 3<sup>rd<\/sup>, 10<sup>th<\/sup>, 17<sup>th<\/sup> September and Fridays 5<sup>th<\/sup>, 12<sup>th<\/sup> and 19<sup>th<\/sup> September.<\/p>\n<p>Next special event: Winter Photography on the MER \u2013 1st November<\/p>\n<p>More info @ <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gov.im\/publictransport\/Rail\/Electric\/\">http:\/\/www.gov.im\/publictransport\/Rail\/Electric\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Seaton Tramway<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Current Status: Daily running.<\/p>\n<p>The Red timetable is in operation daily until Sunday 31<sup>st<\/sup> August. First tram leaves Seaton at 1000 and then every 20 minutes until 1720 with returns from Colyton starting at 1030 until the last departure of the day at 1750.<\/p>\n<p>The Blue timetable will be in operation from Monday 1<sup>st<\/sup> September until Sunday 14<sup>th<\/sup> September.
